Nairobi Ololo — The kids arrive

Hi Again!

Last Sunday, July 25th, our kids and grandkids arrived in Nairobi and were whisked to Ololo Safari Lodge. However, it was very, very late at night (or very early in the morning) before they got there and to bed……so the first day was a bit rough for them. Anyway, here are the pictures:

Cribs for the babies
Breakfast for all
Girl Power
Brombergs
Wildebeest crossing
Lion and Nairobi in same picture — weird!

We visited an giraffe sanctuary where we could feed the giraffes — fun for all ages.

Calder and Autari feeding
Eli feeding.

We stopped and had a picnic lunch the camp had prepared for us before we headed for our next stop.

Next we visited an elephant sanctuary:

There was a rhino there.

In the morning we headed for our next adventure — Masai Mara!

Maggie and Ellie
Spence and Xander
Campbell and Calder with a Maggie photobomb

Good-bye Ololo; hello airstrip:

Xander loved being the co-pilot.

See you soon,

Beth

p.s. There are some wrong names of birds/animals in the last blog. The Superb Spurwing is a Superb Starling and the Alligator is a Crocodile. I can’t figure out how to edit; I used to know 18 months ago. I’ll get it again 🙂

I write blogs about the places my husband and I visit just to tell my family and friends about the trip and to show the pictures of what we visited.
